Money Saving Tips
I read some financial advice the other day that suggested paying cash for everything as a method for saving money. The basic idea was that people don't consider the real cost when using a credit card, so if you use cash then you'll be more careful with your money. This is the worst financial advice I've ever heard. When I carry cash, it's gone ten minutes after I leave the ATM, and I have no idea where it went. My financial advice would be to never, ever carry any cash. Then you won't be able to ever buy anything from places that don't accept debit cards, and when some small fee pops up and you have no cash, your friend who has a stack of singles in his pocket will take care of it.
