I caught a few minutes of the popular early 90's movie 'When Harry Met Sally' on TV over the weekend. There was a scene where the thirtysomethings were at a party playing Win, Lose or Draw, a Pictionary competitor that failed to stand the test of time. In this scene, the group was drawing and drinking a bit of wine, then they finished the game, someone offered coffee, and they wound down the party. Later that night I went to a holiday party and someone suggested playing charades. My friends leapt about making grand gestures while others screamed guesses, the night spinning off into shouting matches over charades cheating allegations and spilled drinks. Harry and Sally were comparatively pretty dull, and I hope I never have to go to a party like theirs.
