I'm staying in a hotel this weekend with a dress code. I guess it's a private club that's been around a long time so they do these kinds of things. I was wondering what you would do if you stayed in this hotel for more than a few days and decided that you wanted to go for a run. Would you have to wear running clothes underneath your business causal outfit so you could walk through the lobby? So I did some research on their website, and it turns out, yes, you have to always wear business casual. The alternative is to take the freight elevator down to a special entrance that lets you exit without going through the lobby. Though I would propose another alternative. Go through the lobby but run super fast on your way. You're wearing running clothes anyway.
