I've read in the news that there's a problem with the NBA. It sounds like the players are unhappy with their payments or the terms of their contract or something, so there's a lockout while the owners and players are trying to work things out. In the past few days, I've been seeing what look like alarming news articles written on the topic. They say things like, "NBA May Lose Games," and "Last Minute NBA Negotiations Underway." Well, last I checked, each team in the NBA plays about 100 games per year. With travel, playoffs and days between games, the season lasts about two-thirds of the year. In other words, the season is already unbearably long. I hope they negotiate so long that the season can only last two weeks and they start playoffs. It'd be just like my middle school basketball season and nearly as exciting to watch.

The NBA? The NBA
