Domain Register

It turns out that my friend's name spelled backwards is the same spelling as a massive Russian energy company. I thought it a bit odd that he bothered to register the domain of his name spelled backwards, but once that company came onto the market, it started looking like a better and better idea. For years they low-balled him with offers, probably hoping the domain would expire and they'd be able to grab it. But he was careful, and with $6 billion in annual business, he knew they could afford it. It's great when you see one of your friend's get-rich-quick schemes work out.
