Lost Paranoia

My paranoia about things falling out of my pockets seems to increased even though I've never actually lost anything from my pockets besides the odd loose change in the past several years. The other night I hopped out of a taxi and half a block down the road realized I didn't have my phone in the front pocket where I always keep it. I dashed back to the cab as fast as I could and caught it at a red light. Without a pause for thought, I ripped open the side door. It's a good thing the couple that had climbed into this cab in my absence wasn't carrying a can of pepper spray or worse because they both screamed in shock. I yelled, "I left my phone in here!" Before I even finished yelling I realized I'd accidentally put it in my back pocket with my wallet. False alarm folks, no one's getting robbed here. Have a nice night.
