I'd been stuffed up for a couple weeks and couldn't smell anything. The cloud lifted a few days back, and I found myself once again in full possession of my sense of smell. I was hanging out with a few friends I hadn't seen in a while and found myself saying all kinds of creepy things like, "Do you use Aveda shampoo?" and "Did you just by some Glade Plug-ins?" Regaining your sense of smell is kind of like when you travel for a couple weeks and return home. When you're at your house, you never really smell it since you're used to it. So after a break you rediscover that it smells like beer and dog.

Smelling Again
