Food Prep

I have this horrible knack for assuming that places that prepare and cook food are all sanitary and up to code. No matter how dirty a place is, even if I see someone cough onto my fork right before they give it to me, I'll think, "Nah, these guys wouldn't be in business if it was unsanitary." And I've even worked in the food business. Well, the climbing gym where I worked was attached to a beach volleyball facility, and we sold hotdogs out of a steamer machine. I don't know that it was ever cleaned out over the two years I worked there. Nah, I'm sure someone cleaned it out when I wasn't around.
