Weather Weirding

An unseasonable early spring took us all by surprise. Everyone was out in T-shirts and shorts. Then I went away for a week and came back to dropping temperatures. The days grow longer, but the sun is obscured by clouds so you can't even tell. My time spent away was in sunny, warm climates that were the normal continuation of the warmth we'd been having at home, so now it seems like fall is here. We had a mild winter, and then skipped summer. It's been confusing. I forget in what month it is. It doesn't help that we plan for things at work months in advance, so I'm always looking at calendars four or five months out. Everyone was worried that we'd have a hot summer after a mild winter, but now I've mentally skipped summer and prepared for another winter. It'll be a nice surprise when my mental winter hits 80F.
