Rental Cars

I rented a tiny car the other week. I'm not sure, but I think it was a Nissan 1. I didn't even know they offered that option. When we'd go up hills I'd have to turn off the A/C so that I'd have enough power to ascend without slowing down. I loved it. At one point, with no hint of irony, I said, "I like driving this car because I feel like I'm riding a bike." A few days later we picked up another rental. But this time we went over the top and chose a Mustang convertible. I thought it'd be fun to ride around town with the top down. But everywhere we went, we'd see 10 other identical Mustang convertibles. The tourist special. And the highest speed limit we hit was 40mph, and I also managed to get a sunburn. If you're in a tourist town, never let the rent-a-car counter person talk you into the upgrade.
