My friends have a very cool liquor cart in their kitchen that's covered with a whole galaxy of multi-colored bottles of imaginative shape. To behold it is like looking at modern art that doesn't stink. And I imagined that with such an impressive collection of liquors, I'd be able to make some kind of very cool and exotic cocktail that I'd never normally have the chance to create. So I set about finding something that used their odd stack of liquor and prepared to make it. I removed the five bottles I'd need, only to find that every single bottle had about a half-inch of liquid left in it. I couldn't use these. I didn't want to finish their bottles and upset the balance of their table. And it seems it's been this way for many years, hence the cool landscape of bottles.
