I've been watching my friend's dog while he's been out of town. It's the best trained, most well behaved dog I've ever watched. I don't have to worry about it tearing up my couch to shreds or going to the bathroom all over my bed while I'm at work. He doesn't bark or even pull on the leash. It seems there's a lot to be said for taking your dog to obedience school when it's a puppy. But one thing I'll say about this dog, it can't hunt. It wants to chase squirrels so bad that it sees them and quivers like it's about to explode. But here's the problem, there's a fat, slow squirrel sitting five feet away from him, and this dog is freaking out over one he sees in a tree 50 feet away. At the end of the day, I'm not sure if he's well trained or just not too bright.
