It's Health-Tea
This week I drank two bottles of $4 fermented tea that tastes like vinegar. It's supposed to be good for you, but unlike most medicinal items I found myself enjoying drinking it. Spending that kind of cash for something fermented that doesn't give you a buzz would have been appalling to me a decade ago. That was when my drink diet consisted mostly of cheap beer, Sunny Delight, and Kool-Aid mixed with diabetes-inducing amounts of sugar. I find the extraordinary change in my tastes over this relatively brief period of time shocking. It makes me wonder if another decade from now I'll be drinking battery acid and praising its restorative qualities.
