The Country Disaster

I spend an inordinate amount of my time reading news about North Korea. The place is fascinating. It's reading things like "secretive regime," "plotting an overthrow," and "lab under a mountain" in the articles that keeps me so interested. The guy in charge is a real life Bond villain, and he's friends with Dennis Rodman. It's like a Bond reality show over there. And I realize there are horrible atrocities being committed, but I'm at a loss for what I can do about some lunatic in North Korea. It's like looking when you drive past a car crash that happened hours ago. You're powerless to do anything and feel for the people involved, and yet you can't help but look as you go past.

  1. Rodman and reality in the same thought? C'mon... He wasn't even real when he played...well, unless you tried to block him out.
