Tape Delay Games

I've been watching the Olympics like everyone else. It's hard this year because unless you spend the day avoiding contact with any social network or newspaper, you're guaranteed to find out who won the big events. It's unavoidable in headlines or in Facebook posts. For that reason, I'm considering peppering my Facebook page and Twitter timeline with erroneous updates. Things like, "I can't believe Vladimir Putin entered the ski jump...and won!" And, "Why is everyone so mad at the biathlete who fired his gun into the air after winning? Lighten up people!" That way when my friends tune in to watch the games at night, they'll be surprised when these things I shared with them fail to happen, and that way you get a little of the surprise back.
