Changing the Clocks

Twice a year I would reset my car's clock. My Pontiac 6000 LE had a very simple clock and radio. It had two dials, a scan button, a seek button, and then 5 more buttons for pre-programmed stations. With so few options, you'd think that it'd be easy to change the time. I remember when people used to stop in at the bike shop to complain about how hard it was to operate their bike computers. Those things only had two buttons, but no one could figure out how to operate them. It took Apple developing the iPod to make this interface stuff easy. When daylight savings time began and ended, I'd sit in my parked car with the doors open for ages trying every button combination I could imagine. I'd hold them down for varying lengths of time then let go, hoping to see a flashing time on the clock. Most years I'd end up having to remember to subtract or add an hour to know the correct time for several months.
