Cashing Checks

I downloaded this handy iPhone application that lets me cash checks by taking a photo of the front and back of the check and sending it to the bank. It takes a few days for the photo-cashed check to get dropped into your account, so you're left waiting with the check in hand to see if it goes through. Once it cashes, you can tear up the check or file it away. Like a lot of people, my paperwork filing system is not very detail-oriented. Basically there's a stack of paper on my dresser and another on my desk. Since my bank has instituted this check-cash-by-photo policy, I've acquired a small pile of checks that I set aside while waiting for them to clear. And now I have this pile and I have no idea if I've deposited any of the checks. What I'm say is, if you owe me money, pay with a check. There's a decent chance I'll never cash it.
