Google Plus

I'm trying out Google+ like a lot of people, and I really like the interface and the look. It's much more enjoyable than Facebook. My problem is that I only have about a 20 friends using Google+, and among them, only one guy ever posts things, and I haven't actually spoken to him in years. So I login to Google+ once in a while to see if anyone else joined, but I only ever hear about this one guy's life. It's like he's built his only social network so I could monitor his every move, but if I block him, I'll have nothing to look at. It's the loneliest place on the internet.
