I tried two new things the other night: Visine and sunflower seeds. During an all-night roadtrip I chewed down an entire bag of sunflower seeds and they did such a good job keeping me awake that I took down a second bag. I also think that the massive amount of salt in the seeds helped my body retain water so that I wouldn't have to go to the bathroom every 20 minutes from chugging coffee. Though, the moisture that I retained did not stay in my eyes. It seems that all the water in my body was used by my mouth soaking up salty sunflower seeds, so that my eyelids got so dry I thought I could hear them scratching my eyeballs every time that I blinked. Hence the Visine. It's nice to try new things.
