T-shirt Weather

Now that summer temperatures have hit their sticky peak, I have to change my shirt when I get to work. During fall, spring, and winter I wear whatever clothes I'll wear for the day, but this time of year I have to wear a gym shirt for the ride and then change into more presentable clothes when I get to the office. Not that anyone would notice, or at least I didn't think anyone would notice. These days I double-check to make sure my presentable shirt is packed in my bag, ready to change into when I get to work. Last summer I forgot to pack a button-up shirt one day, and I thought, "It's cool, I can pull this off." So long as I didn't act like it was weird that I was wearing a T-shirt in the office, no one else would act weird. As soon as I sat down at my desk my co-worker shouted over the cubicle wall, "T-shirt Tuesday, huh buddy?" I had to wait at my desk until 10 a.m. for the men's store down the street to open. I didn't even get to have coffee that morning.
