Musical Theater
I'll sometimes sit and think about how much I dislike going to plays or musicals. The performers at them are impressive. The music is fine (for some people). And above all else the "Theatre" represents an important cultural touchstone for generations of Americans. And I hate it. It's expensive, the seats are uncomfortable, drink prices make ballparks look cheap, and you have to wait for ages to go to the bathroom. I read that Broadway sales are in a decline among men, and in an effort to broaden the appeal, producers created a musical of the movie Rocky. Terrible idea. Taking the brutality out of a movie and adding singing and dancing isn't going to attract anyone.
