St. Patrick's Day

I have no terribly fond memories of St. Patrick's Day. Nor do I have any bad memories that stand out. So basically it's like any other day of the year, except that I can plan on the bars being more crowded than normal. I don't when I turned that corner, but one day a long time ago I began to hate going to packed bars. A big crowd used to come with the territory, but then again so did standing in clouds of cigarette smoke and listening to several Journey songs in a row. I don't know much about Saint Patrick, but I respect anyone who gets a drinking holiday named after them. I almost can't wait until Burt Reynolds becomes a saint so we can begin celebrating his day with cans of Coors, a tribute to his role in Smokey and the Bandit.
