Remembering You Remembered

I was mad at myself when I arrived at the office the other day. Halfway to work I realized that I'd forgotten to grab the breakfast out of the refrigerator that I'd packed the night before: yogurt, a banana and walnuts. I locked up my bike at work then went out to buy more food. I enjoyed the stroll and rationalized that I could just bring my packed breakfast the next day. A day later I didn't make the same mistake. I went to grab my packed breakfast, and it was gone. I thought maybe my girlfriend took it, but then I checked my bag and found it had been sitting in there for 24 hours. I hadn't forgotten it the day before. But somehow, I had forgotten that I packed it, which is worse since it means now you're eating yogurt that hasn't seen refrigeration for a full day.
