The temperature has plummeted. On my elevator ride out of the office today a woman looked at the bike helmet I was holding and said to the guy next to her, "Oh my god, Ron! I saw that helmet and thought you brought your motorcycle in today!" Bear in mind that these two are standing right next to me, and I'm standing right next to my bicycle. He said, "No way did I ride in, but you know what I saw on my drive here? A guy on a bike!" This is not a big elevator. In fact, it's a bit smaller than your average elevator. It took a moment but he saw my helmet. Then my bike. Then he looked at me. I said, "It beats riding in the rain." To which they both nodded in agreement with a little too much enthusiasm.
